TableFlow Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026 · Applies to the TableFlow Chrome extension (version 2.1.0 and later)

Short version: TableFlow reads tables only on the page you ask it to, processes everything inside your browser, and does not collect, sell or transmit your browsing data or the data you extract.

What TableFlow reads

When you open TableFlow on a tab, it reads the tables, data grids and lists on that page so it can show them in the side panel and export them. When you ask it to collect more pages or scroll, it keeps reading that same site until the job ends. It does not run on pages you did not open it on and does not read pages in the background.

What is stored, and where

All of this is kept in Chrome's local extension storage on your device. You can delete recipes and collections inside TableFlow, or remove everything by uninstalling the extension.

What is sent over the network

Only one thing: when you activate a license key (and periodically afterwards, to check renewals and refunds), TableFlow sends that key and the product ID to Gumroad's license API at api.gumroad.com. No page content, extracted data, browsing history or personal information is sent. Purchases are handled by Gumroad under Gumroad's privacy policy.

What TableFlow does not do

Permissions

TableFlow uses activeTab and scripting to read the page you choose, sidePanel to show its interface, storage/unlimitedStorage for the local data above, clipboardWrite for the Copy button and alarms for license re-checks. Access to other sites is optional and only requested when you allow a site, collect a multi-page table that reloads, or save/run a recipe.
